Agreement to these terms

These terms of use govern your use of AI News — the website at artificialintelligencenews24.com, its RSS feeds and its email newsletter — which is published by AI News Media (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

About our service

AI News is a free, advertising-supported, independent news and opinion publication about artificial intelligence. Its articles are produced by an automated newsroom using AI models and checked against their sources before publication, as our About page explains. Our coverage follows our published editorial standards.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We don’t guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Accuracy and updates

We aim for accurate, well-sourced coverage and correct errors when we find them. Articles may nevertheless contain mistakes, omissions or outdated information. Please report errors so we can address them.

Articles reflect the information available when they were published and may not reflect later developments. Please check the sources we link to, and treat our articles as a starting point rather than the final word when you make important decisions. Opinion pieces set out arguments and are always labeled as opinion.

Not professional advice

Nothing on AI News is legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, security or other professional advice, and our coverage of an AI product is not a recommendation to buy or use it. For decisions about your health, money or legal position, consult a qualified professional. For information about how, when and where to vote, consult your election office or vote.gov.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
  • interfere with the site’s operation or security — for example by probing for vulnerabilities, overloading it, or trying to get into areas you are not authorized to use, such as our administration area;
  • access the site with automated tools at a rate or volume that puts undue load on it, or in ways that ignore the instructions in our robots.txt file;
  • systematically copy or scrape our content to build a database, a competing service or a dataset for training AI models, without our written permission;
  • manipulate our analytics or headline tests, for example by generating artificial page views or clicks;
  • click on advertisements fraudulently, or encourage others to do so;
  • misrepresent a connection with us, or present our content as your own.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Reader comments

Where an article has a comments section, you may post a comment under a display name. Comments must follow the community guidelines shown with each comments section. In particular, don’t post other people’s personal information, or material you don’t have the right to share, such as someone else’s copyrighted work.

  • You keep ownership of what you write.
  • By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display and moderate your comment on our site.
  • You are responsible for what you post.
  • Comments are moderated. We may decline, remove or delete any comment, and block commenters, at our discretion. We never edit comments: we publish them as written or not at all.
  • Comments are readers’ views, not ours.

To report a comment, use the Report button under it. To have a comment of yours removed, see our privacy policy.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the articles, headlines, design, graphics and other material on AI News are owned by or licensed to AI News Media and are protected by copyright and other laws to the extent those rights apply. The AI News name and logo are our trademarks.

You’re welcome to

  • read, print and save articles for your own personal, non-commercial use;
  • share links to our articles, including on social media;
  • quote short excerpts, with clear attribution to AI News and a link to the original article;
  • follow our RSS feeds in a feed reader for your personal use.

Without our written permission, you may not

  • republish, sell, license or distribute our articles in full or in substantial part;
  • remove or change credits, copyright notices or source attributions;
  • frame our pages, or present our content in a way that suggests it is yours or that we endorse you.

Photographs on our site come from stock libraries and public archives; each is credited beside it, remains its creator’s and is used under its license, so it is not ours to license. Screenshots show pages that belong to their owners. Quotations in our articles belong to the people and outlets they are attributed to. For licensing or syndication, email [email protected].

Third-party content and links

Our articles link to other websites, including the news organizations we cite. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Advertising

Ads on our site are supplied by third parties, mainly through Google. We aren’t responsible for advertisers’ products, services or claims, and an ad is not an endorsement. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. If an ad seems misleading or harmful, please tell us at [email protected].

Newsletter

Our newsletter is free. By subscribing and confirming your address, you agree to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We may change how often it is sent, or stop sending it.

Feedback and messages

If you send us feedback, suggestions or corrections, you agree that we may use them to improve our journalism and our service, without any obligation to you. We don’t currently commission unsolicited freelance work or accept confidential tips, so please don’t send us unpublished work you want paid for or confidential material.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and all of its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI News Media will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its content, including reliance on content that turns out to be inaccurate. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, if you use the site in breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, that we incur as a result of claims by others.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the publisher is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and give notice on the site for significant changes. If you keep using the site after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we don’t enforce a provision straight away, we haven’t waived our right to do so later. These terms, together with our privacy policy and the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor publisher of AI News.
